Background

The importance of setting goals has been known for literally thousands of years. Aristotle wrote: “A human is a goal-seeking animal. Our lives only have meaning if we are reaching out and striving for his goals.” In this workshop, we review the fundamental principles of goal setting. You will complete a wheel of life exercise (to help identify the right personal goals), a job outcomes review. Using insights from these exercises your will then set meaningful goals using two powerful techniques: SMARTER and Well-Formed Outcomes. With an emphasis on self-motivation and self-management you will walk away with an action plan and the right tools to succeed, whatever your goals.

Reviews

The presenter had energy, passion and honesty. What I’ll take away from this workshop [Goal Setting for Success] is the importance of modelling and role models, how to cope with failure and set-backs a sense of positivity and being inspired.

I found the Goal Setting Workshop very inspiring. The workshop has highlighted that the key to goal setting is getting away from the pressures of the day and asking the question where do I want to be in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years from now and most importantly writing them down and constantly checking to see where I am against my goals and visualizing success.  I would recommended this course to anyone who is serious about achieving their goals.
