Course Outline

There are four steps involved in the RQi™ Resilience Practitioner course as follows:

1. Distance Learning

This part requires completion of two e-learning modules and your own RQi™ questionnaire at: www.myrqi.com. [Time = 1 ½ hours]

2. Interactive Webinars

The interactive webinars are run over two consecutive days. After these sessions you'll be able to (1) describe how the RQi was designed and tested (2) explain what high scores and low scores mean in behavioural terms, and (3) coach clients in making changes for greater resilience and wellbeing. There's also a half-day follow-up session to complete the practice coaching in pairs; the dates/times are flexible and chosen by delegates. [Time = 2 days+]

3. Practice Coaching

After the webinars, participants are required to complete three practice coaching sessions (with family, friends and/or colleagues) in their own time. [Time = approx ½ day]

4. Online Assessment

This is a multiple-choice and scenarios-based assessment designed to test knowledge of the RQi™ and the client feedback process. The pass mark is 75%. [Time = 30 mins]

Entry Requirements: Participants must have at least one of the following: (1) significant coaching experience in a professional context (either as an independent consultant or internal performance coach); (2) a recognised coaching qualification (for example a course accredited by the International Coach Federation); (3) BPS Level A and B Certification; or (4) completion of Kirros’s Core Coaching Skills course.
